Bookings and Payments
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total fee is required at the time of booking. Balance of payment must be received 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the event date to secure confirmation of the booking. If booking within 42 days (6 weeks) days of the event date, we will require the full payment at the time of booking. All other fees e.g. car parking, travel costs, accommodation are payable by the participant.
Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers
Cancellations By Client/You
Notification of all cancellations must be in writing or by email. In the case of cancellation the following charges will apply:
Should you cancel your booking or full payment is not made 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the event date then the cost of the initial deposit will be forfeited.
Should you cancel your booking between 42 days (6 weeks) and 28 days (4 weeks) prior to the date of challenge then 50% of total booking cost will be forfeited.
Should you cancel your booking between 28 days (4 weeks) and 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the date of challenge then 75% of total booking cost will be forfeited.
Should you cancel your booking between 14 days (2 weeks) and the date of challenge then 100% of total booking cost will be forfeited.
Transfers
Where possible we will allow a previously booked place within your challenge to be transferred to a replacement should a participant choose to withdraw with out further cost and where notice is given in writing (letter or email) and relevant paperwork is received not less than 7 days (1 week) prior to the event of the challenge date.
If for any reason there is need for you to reschedule your event we will endeavor to accommodate an alternative date for your challenge subject to our availability, cost remaining the same though with any additional adjustments made as stated in the case of cancellation and rescheduled event being within 9months of original booking date.
Cancellation by us
In the extremely unlikely event of cancellation on the part of Your Mountain Challenge/Your Mountain Adventure caused by ‘force majeure’ (examples of which are but not limited to War, Riots, Civil Disturbances, Terrorist Activity or Consequences, Natural Disasters, Fire, Health Risks, Industrial Disputes, Actual or Potential Severe Weather Conditions and any other similar events beyond our control) participants will be notified by telephone, in writing or by e-mail as soon as practicable and the following options offered:
- an alternative challenge on the same date.
- an alternative date for the same challenge.
- an alternative date for an alternative challenge equal to original monies paid.
We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover your booking.
